Ingredients:
- Ritz crackers
- ½ cup shredded Parmesan or Romano cheese
- 2 sticks butter
- 2 sliced bacon
- Yellow onion, diced
- 1 cup green onions, sliced
- ½ cup butter melted
- 3 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 16 ounces crab meat
- 2 cups Swiss cheese, shredded
Directions
Crush one sleeve of Ritz crackers and mix into melted 2 sticks of butter. Mix in cheese. Press into pie dish or springform pan to make a crust.
Drain crab meat and set aside.
Cook bacon. Remove bacon and chop. Add onion and green onion to the bacon grease.
Mix onions, chopped bacon, cream cheese, cream, Swiss & eggs in stand mixer.
After all is mixed fold in crabmeat. Pour over crust and bake at 375 degrees until solid and the top is a light golden brown. This took me 40 minutes. It will still be a little jiggly. Let cool then place in fridge overnight. Serve with Ritz crackers.
