Ingredients:
- 2 pounds ground chuck
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 1/2 teaspoon dried garlic powder
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 yellow onion, sliced
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup
- 3/4 cup beef broth
- 1 packet au jus mix
Directions
In a stand mixer combine ground chuck, breadcrumbs, milk, onion soup mix and garlic powder. Mix until combined and form into 8 patties.
Arrange sliced onions in the bottom of slow cooker.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat heat the olive oil and butter. Dredge patties lightly in flour then brown on both sides.
Place patties on top of sliced onion. Stir together soup, broth and au jus and pour over patties. Cover and cook on low until beef 4-5 hours.
