- 2 sticks high quality butter, room temperature
- 1 pod roasted garlic
- Thinly sliced green onion
- Zest from 1 lemon
- Zest form 1 orange
- A few pinches of crushed red pepper flakes
- Drizzles of honey
- Flaky sea salt
- Toasted bread for serving
Spread butter onto serving board. Top with roasted garlic, green onion, lemon zest, orange zest. Sprinkle on red pepper flakes. Drizzle with honey. Lightly toss flaky sea salt over. Serve with toasted bread.
To roast garlic: heat oven to 350 degrees. Slice the end of a garlic pod off. Place pod on a piece of foil large enough to wrap the pod completely. Drizzle pod with good olive oil and kosher salt. Wrap in foil. Roast for 20 minutes. The pod should be soft enough for you to squeeze the garlic out. YUM.
