- 1 12 pack package of Hawaiian rolls
- 12 meatballs (I used the frozen ones)
- Marinara sauce
- Butter, melted
- Garlic salt
- Onion powder
- Shredded cheese of your choice
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. If using frozen meatballs, bake/microwave to thaw according to package directions.
Using a paring knife, cut out a triangular middle from each roll. Use your fingers to remove excess bread so you have enough room for sauce and a meatball. Do not cut bread all the way through. Each roll needs to have a bottom.
Using a spoon, drop a dollop of marinara sauce into each hole. Fill with a meatball.
Using a fork, mix melted butter with garlic salt and onion powder. Brush bread edges and sides with butter mixture. Top with cheese. Bake for 20 minutes.
Pour extra marinara sauce into a bowl for dipping.
