Sweet Lemon Crescents

A quick & easy sweet spring breakfast.


  • 1 8 ounce cream cheese spread, softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large lemon, zested
  • 1 can crescent rolls
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted


  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2-3 teaspoons lemon juice


Preheat oven to 375 degrees.  Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy clean up. 

With a mixer, combine cream cheese, sugar, and lemon zest.  Beat until smooth and creamy.

Open the crescent rolls and unroll each.  On the wide end of the triangle, place 2 tablespoons of the cream cheese mixture.  Roll the crescent rolls starting with the wide end, pinching the seams closed.  Brush with melted butter.

Bake for 11-14 minutes until golden brown.  Remove from oven and while they are cooling make the glaze.  In a small bowl whisk they powdered sugar and lemon juice until smooth.  Drizzle over crescent rolls.
