James Island Sauteed Shrimp & Rice

An easy dish that is sure to impress.

  • 1 – 1 1/2 pounds fresh shrimp, peeled
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 flat mushrooms, sliced
  • 6 green onions, sliced
  • ½ cup white wine
  • ¾ cup cream
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Few shakes of dill
  • Cooked white rice


Melt butter in skillet.  Cook mushrooms and green onions.  Add in shrimp, white wine, cream, salt, pepper, and dill.  Stir frequently and bring to a boil.  When shrimp are pink (only 2-3 minutes), the dish is ready.  Serve over rice.
