- 1 1/3 cup flour
- 1 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 stick softened butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 cups rough chopped strawberries
- Coarse sugar for sprinkling
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9” round pie plate. In a medium bowl mix the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
In another bowl whip the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat well after each egg. Add vanilla.
Alternately add flour mixture with sour cream, beginning and ending with flour mixture.
Fold in strawberries with spatula. Spread batter into prepared pan and sprinkle coarse sugar on top. Bake 35-40 minutes.
