Ingredients:
- 2 ½ tablespoons active dry yeast
- 3 cups warm water
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2/3 cup honey
- 7 cups bread flour
- 4 tablespoons melted salted butter
- 1 tablespoon salt
Directions
In a bowl add warm water, yeast, and sugar. Stir well. Let it sit for a few minutes until the yeast is bubbly.
Stir in honey, melted butter, and salt. Mix well. Add in flour. Mix 2-3 minutes until incorporated. I used my stand mixer with the dough hook attachment.
Cover with a tea towel until the dough has doubled in size. If placed in a warm area this will take around an hour.
Dump the dough onto a floured surface and divided into 3 parts. Form into loaves and place into 3 greased bread pans. Cover again with a towel and let rise once more (another hour).
Bake at 350 degrees for 20-23 minutes. The top should be golden brown.
