• 1 loaf cinnamon swirl bread
• 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
• 1/4 cup powdered sugar
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 2 teaspoons cinnamon
• 1 stick butter, melted
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut crusts from bread and use rolling pin to flatten each piece. Mix cream cheese and powdered sugar with hand mixer. Spread 1 tablespoon of mixture on each piece of bread. In coating tray, use fork to mix sugar and cinnamon. In another coating tray, pour melted butter. Roll up each piece of bread cigar style. Dip in butter tray, then in sugar/cinnamon tray. Place in baking dish or on cookie sheet. Repeat for all pieces of bread. Bake for 16-20 minutes.
*These are beyond delicious. I was a little worried about how they would turn out, but they crisp perfectly on the outside. I made these two times the first week I had them. The boys are under the impression I now know how to make churros.
