Honey Bun Monkey Bread

A perfect matrimonial ceremony of honey bun cake to monkey bread!


  • 1/2 cup butter
  • Small Cook & Serve butterscotch pudding mix
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 cup chopped pecans (optional)
  • 2 cans cinnamon rolls, quartered (& reserve icing for drizzling!)


Spray a bundt pan with Pam and preheat oven to 350 degrees..  Microwave the butter, pudding mix, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt until butter has melted.  Whisk together until combined.

Sprinkle 1/2 cup pecans into the pan if using.  Place half the cinnamon rolls evenly over the pecans leaving a little space between rolls.  Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup pecans and 1/2 of the butter/pudding mixture over the roll pieces. 

Add remaining quartered pieces on top of butter/pudding mixture.  Top evenly with remaining butter/pudding mixture. 

Bake 23ish minutes.  Cool for 5 minutes before inverting onto a place.  Serve immediately.
