• 2 New York strip steaks, cut in bite size pieces
• 2 tablespoons brown sugar
• 2 tablespoons bourbon
• 1 teaspoon kosher salt
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 2 tablespoons butter
Whisk brown sugar and bourbon together. Heat olive oil and butter in cast iron skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering. Add steak bites and sear. While the steaks are cooking sprinkle with kosher salt. Add brown sugar mixture to skillet and heat 30 seconds more.
