Ingredients:
- 3 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 ¾ cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 cups chocolate chips (plus more for topping)
- Milk chocolate heart candy
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a jelly roll pan.
Whisk dry ingredients. In a mixer combine butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix in dry ingredients. Fold in chocolate chips. Pour into jelly roll pan. Bake 15 minutes. Remove from oven and add remaining chocolate chips on top. Bake 5-7 more minutes.
Let cool a bit. Use cookie cutters to cut out shapes. Add chocolate hearts for Valentine theme if desired.
