Cake:
- 1 ½ sticks butter, room temp
- 1 1/3 cups sugar
- 1 cup buttermilk, room temp
- 2 eggs, room temp
- 2 ½ teaspoons vanilla
- 2 ½ cups flour
- ¾ teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
Cinnamon Sugar:
- ¼ cup sugar
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
Glaze:
- 1 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 4 tablespoons butter, room temp
- 2 tablespoons milk
- Sprinkle of cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
Heat oven to 350 degrees. In a small bowl mix the cinnamon sugar. Set aside.
In a medium bowl whisk flour, baking powder, soda, and salt. Set aside.
Add butter and white sugar to a bowl and cream for 3-4 minutes on medium speed.
Add buttermilk, eggs, and vanilla. Blend until fully combined. Add flour mixture and mix until blended.
Spray bundt pan with cooking spray. Pour half of the cake batter into the pan. Shake half of the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the batter. Top with remaining batter. Shake remaining cinnamon sugar mixture over the top.
Bake 40 minutes or until done. Cool completely before pouring glaze over.
To make the glaze mix all ingredients with a hand mixer.
