Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 1/4 cup flour
- 1 tablespoon dry ranch mix
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 1/2 cups Velveeta shreds
- 1/3 cup real bacon pieces
- 1 cup buttermilk
Directions
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Melt butter and pour into 8” square baking dish.
Whisk flour, ranch mix, baking powder, salt, and cayenne. Add cheese and bacon bits. Stir in buttermilk just until blended. Press biscuit dough into baking dish on top of butter with floured hands. Use a knife to cut into 12 or 16 squared. Bake 17-20 minutes until golden.
*My boys love these with fried eggs in the middle.
