• 2 cups elbow macaroni
• 1 egg
• 2 cups whole milk
• 2 tablespoons butter
• 3 pieces bread, torn into pieces
• 3 cups freshly shredded sharp cheddar
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Boil pasta. Drain. While pasta is cooking, mix egg, milk, salt, & pepper together.
In a small skillet melt butter and toss breadcrumbs around until toasted.
Mix pasta with cheese in large bowl. Spread in 9x13 pan. Pour egg mixture over. Bake for 30 minutes. For the last 15 minutes spread bread crumbs over evenly.
