Lemon Basil Orzo

Lemon Basil Orzo

A light and flavorful perfect side dish.


  • 1 pound orzo pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil
  • Lemon juice
  • Salt


Bring a large pot of salted water to boil.  Cook orzo to al dente. Drain and add right back to the hot pot.  Add olive oil, basil, and lemon juice.  Season with salt.
