Cake:
- Yellow or funfetti cake mix (plus ingredients called for on box)
- 1 small package vanilla instant pudding
- ½ cup sprinkles
Filling
- 1 small package vanilla instant pudding
- 1 ¾ cup milk
Topping:
- 1 ¾ cup heavy whipping cream
- ¾ cup yellow cake mix (dry)
- 2 tablespoons sprinkles
Directions
Preheat oven to temperature on box directions. Mix cake per box instructions and add the vanilla pudding. Add sprinkles. Pour into greased 9x13 baking dish. Bake until done. Use the end of a wooden spoon to poke holes in the cake all over. Cool.
Make the filling by whisking the pudding and milk. Before the pudding sets (do not refrigerate), pour over the top of the cake and spread with a spatula to fill holes. Chill.
Make the topping by beating heavy cream until stiff peaks form with mixer. Add cake mix and beat until stiff peaks form again. Stir in sprinkles. Spread over cake.
