• 1 cup shortening
• 1/2 cup butter
• 2 cups brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 3 1/2 cups flour
• 3 tablespoons cornstarch
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon salt

Cinnamon Honey Buttercream
• 1/2 cup butter, room temperature
• 2 tablespoons honey
• 2 teaspoons cinnamon
• 2 cups powdered sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix shortening, butter, and brown sugar to stand mixer. Mix for 2 minutes. Add eggs. Mix until combined. Add all remaining dry ingredients and mix until dough forms. Scoop desired amount of dough onto cookie sheet and flatten with bottom of drinking glass.

Brush cookies with sweetened condensed milk. Be sure not to drip milk onto baking sheet as it will burn. Bake cookies 10-12 minutes. Brush with butter when hot out of the oven.

While the cookies cool make frosting: Add butter, honey, and cinnamon to a stand mixer. Mix well. Add powdered sugar and vanilla. Mix until smooth and fluffy. Top each cookie with frosting.
