Ingredients:
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 yellow onions, diced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 ½ cups sour cream
- 1 green onion, thinly sliced
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- ½ teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
- Fritos for serving
Directions
In a large heavy pot melt butter over medium-high heat. Add onions and sauté, stirring every 2-3 minutes for ~30 minutes or until onions caramelize to deep golden brown. Add garlic and cook 2 minutes. Remove from heat and refrigerate onions 15 minutes. Set aside a few tablespoons of the onions for topping. Add rest of ingredients. Taste and season with more Worcestershire or salt/pepper if needed. Top with reserved onions.
